Biography:
Jim Clark is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell and his practice areas include medical malpractice, general negligence, products liability, and mass torts (pharmaceutical and medical products). Mr. Clark was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1975 and the North Carolina Bar in 1979. Mr. Clark is a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer and is certified as a Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He attended law school at Florida State University College of Law. In 1996, Mr. Clark was presented the Michael A. Fogarty Memorial "In The Trenches Award" which is awarded annually to the civil trial lawyer in the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit for excellence in trial skills and ethical conduct. Mr. Clark has been named through a peer selection process as a top Florida lawyer by Florida Monthly Magazine. Also, Mr. Clark has been selected annually since 2005 as one of the best lawyers in America by The Best Lawyers in America in two categories – Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice. Best Lawyers is the oldest and most respected peer-review publication in the legal profession. Mr. Clark also authored a chapter in the Florida Medical Malpractice Handbook entitled “Jury Selection” that is published by the Florida Bar. Mr. Clark once again has the distinction of being selected by Super Lawyers magazine as one of Florida's top trial attorneys for the upcoming 2010 edition.
