Susan G. Komen Foundation Announces Unprecedented $100 Million in Grants for Breast Cancer Research in 2008
The Susan G. Komen for the Cure ® announced today that the organization will distribute $100 million in grants to American and international scientists for breast cancer research, including two grants for institutions in the State of Florida (H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and the University of Florida). This is the largest commitment of breast cancer research funding by a single nonprofit organization to date.
